Description

This course will introduce Ozone and the variety of applications that can be used in the clinical practice setting.  We will review the historical applications of ozone to current date and the benefits and pitfalls of ozone applications.  You will understand dosing for specific applications and potential usages in a clinical setting. You will understand the safety profile and how you will be able to perform and inform your patients of safe and beneficial applications of ozone. You will learn best practices for clinical outcomes in patients and how to avoid harming patients with over treatment.

Outline:

• Review both history and historical applications of ozone

• Understand the differences between medical ozone and other forms of ozone as well as their uses

• Understand specific machines available and pros and cons

• Review existing medical literature and pharmacology of ozone

• Become aware of clinical applications of ozone and safety concerns

• Come to know clinical outcomes and practical applications of ozone therapy in your day-to-day practice using insufflations, topical, and different forms of infusions
